Job Details

1. Effectiveness:

  • Ensure all pharmacy activities align with organizational goals and patient needs, prioritizing high-impact services.
  • Establish clear metrics for success to measure the effectiveness of pharmacy operations.
  • Develop comprehensive plans to embed projects and pilots into ongoing operations, ensuring a smooth transition from project status to the standard way of working.

2. Efficiency:

  • Maximize resource utilization, including staff, technology, and inventory, to eliminate waste and reduce costs.
  • Evaluate end-to-end in-store processes to eliminate non-value-adding activities, reduce duplication, and introduce smarter processes.
  • Deploy pharmacy productivity measurement tools across all markets to improve efficiency and free up time for customer-centric activities.
  • Improve sales force efficiency through the deployment of the B2B CRM tool provided by Salesforce, expanding across all markets, with Spain as the center of excellence. Monitor KPIs, understand visit cycle planning and execution, and share learnings on efficiency, execution, and effectiveness.

3. Execution:

  • Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and reliability in service delivery, with potential upgrade to ISO9001.
  • Assess marketing campaign execution across markets, working with local and divisional teams to evaluate ROI and identify opportunities and risks.
  • Ensure category management is executed in all markets to the desired standards, supported by visual evidence and performance metrics developed with Finance and Data teams.

4. Continuous Improvement Culture:

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement where staff are encouraged to identify inefficiencies and propose innovative solutions.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Encourage collaboration across departments to ensure seamless integration of new systems and processes that enhance operational efficiency.

6. Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Implement robust risk management strategies to identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure countries operate within the OOC 16.3 framework.

Educational Background:

  • Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent.

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of network operations in pharmaceutical or FMCG ecosystems, with experience in developing excellence across multi-site operations, ideally in multiple international markets.
