At Tesco, people are at the heart of everything we do, and this couldn’t be truer for our pharmacy team.

As a Pharmacy Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on others’ lives. Whether you’re supporting pharmacists, providing top-notch services to customers, or fostering community spirit, your work will touch the lives of hundreds of people every day.

We want to help you be at your best, whatever life brings. That's why we’ll offer you uninterrupted "me time" away from the pharmacy to relax, refuel, and recharge. Aside from these healthy breaks, you’ll also have a variety of career development opportunities with leadership training plans from industry experts, so there’s every chance to progress. And if you’ve got ideas for improvement, we’ll ensure you’re heard.

It all adds up to a role where you can do good, and feel good, while developing your career. Let’s make every day a little better.

About the role

As a Pharmacy Manager, you’ll support pharmacists, deliver NHS and private services, and provide healthcare advice to customers. You’ll also play an active role in our community support programs, giving advice to those at risk or living with conditions like cancer, heart disease, and diabetes. Leading, training, and developing colleagues will be part of your responsibilities, along with using planning systems to ensure pharmacy staffing meets customer needs.

You will need
  • A Pharmacy Degree.
  • A passion for leading and empowering a team.
  • Membership of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and willingness to join the PVG Scheme (we will assist with this).
  • Completion of a DBS check prior to employment.

Pharmacists working for Tesco will need to complete a DBS check before starting work.

What’s in it for you?

We support our pharmacy colleagues with flexible working, development programs in partnership with organizations like Diabetes UK, Cancer Research UK, and the British Heart Foundation, and a range of employee benefits such as GPhC fee coverage, holiday entitlement, bonus schemes, pension, parental leave, colleague discounts, and more. We also promote diversity and inclusion, ensuring everyone feels welcome and valued.
