Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Pharmacy Homecare Technician to join our expanding Homecare team in Oxford. The post supports procurement and delivery of Homecare medicines and services, working within the Homecare pathway to ensure safe, timely supply for patients.

Essential qualifications include NVQ3 Pharmacy Technician and registration with the GPhC, plus experience in medicines management.

Qualifications

• Qualified pharmacy technician (NVQ3) or equivalent.
• Registered with GPhC as a technician.
• Experience in medicines management in hospital.
• Excellent IT skills including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support the Homecare Service Manager and Medicines Effectiveness Pharmacist.
• Develop and support homecare service for safe, timely supply via third party providers.
• Co-ordinate and communicate with clinical pharmacists to manage services.
