Job summary

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Pharmacy Technician to join the Pharmacy Homecare Team, supporting Homecare Medicines and OPAT services to ensure safe, accurate and timely supply to patients.

You will work with pharmacists and multidisciplinary teams, handling prescriptions, registrations, renewals and records, while maintaining high professional standards and contributing to service improvements.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
• Accuracy Checking qualification Level 3.
• Desirable: Level 4 qualification in medicines management or equivalent, or working towards.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery and ongoing development of Homecare Medicines and OPAT services.
• Coordinate homecare prescriptions, patient registrations, renewals, orders and records.
• Order, dispense, and accuracy check medicines, support medicines reconciliation and counselling.
