A healthcare services provider is seeking a Pharmacy Homecare and Procurement Technician to manage purchasing and contracts within the department. The role involves reviewing contracts, supporting generic medicine switches, and overseeing invoicing and finance management. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual dedicated to working in a fast-paced environment.
As a pharmacy procurement and homecare technician you will be involved in all aspects of purchasing within the department for Southend hospital and for the wider MSE team. Reporting to the Pharmacy Procurement lead the post holders duties will include but is not limited to; reviewing existing contracts and building new contracts and frameworks, supporting switches to generic medicines, purchasing of medicines, shortage management, invoicing, finance, contract and system management, outsourcing.
