Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Duty Pharmacy Manager to lead a busy pharmacy team, deliver NHS and private services, and provide expert healthcare advice to customers. You will support the Pharmacy Manager in training and developing staff while building strong links with local GP surgeries.

As part of Tesco, you will contribute to community health initiatives, ensure accurate NHS payments, and participate in charity programs. DBS and PVG checks are part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree required.
• GPhC registration and PVG scheme willing to join.
• DBS check organized by employer.
• Ability to lead and empower a team.

Responsibilities

• Supply prescriptions and deliver NHS and private services; provide healthcare advice to customers.
• Support Pharmacy Manager to lead, train and develop colleagues.
• Build relationships with Primary Care Networks and GP surgeries.
• Ensure accurate NHS payment claims for items.
• Support community health initiatives and charity programs.
