Job summary

Clarity Pharma Ltd is seeking a Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant to support the dispensing process and ensure accurate patient medications across the UK. This role is in a fast-paced online pharmacy environment, requiring careful attention to detail and strong collaboration with pharmacists.

You will handle prescription processing, stock control, and patient communications while maintaining confidentiality and GDPR compliance. A professional, team-focused attitude is essential for daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently in line with SOPs, GPhC standards, and legal requirements.
• Label, assemble, and prepare medicines for final accuracy checks by the pharmacist.
• Maintain accurate prescription records, patient information, and dispensing data.
• Monitor stock levels, receive deliveries, rotate stock, and support stock control procedures.
• Respond to patient enquiries via telephone, email, and online messaging in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Assist with prescription processing, order tracking, and dispatch coordination within an online pharmacy setting.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and GDPR compliance at all times.
• Work collaboratively with pharmacists and colleagues to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.

The Role

• Familiarity with pharmacy dispensing and prescription management systems.
• Knowledge of stock control procedures and controlled drugs management.
• Previous customer service or patient-facing experience.
