Boots UK in the UK is seeking a Trainee Dispenser to support pharmacists and healthcare colleagues in-store, contributing to safe and efficient pharmacy services.

You'll complete the Dispenser NVQ2 training while dispensing prescriptions, advising patients, and ensuring medicines are supplied safely. This in-store role offers training, career development, and the potential to progress to Pharmacy Technician roles.

Qualifications

• Complete the Dispenser training programme (NVQ2).
• Current and valid UK right to work; visa sponsorship not provided.

Responsabilités

• Complete your training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme
• Dispense prescriptions safely while ensuring the safe supply of medicines (ordering, labeling, endorsing, collection)
• Work with other healthcare professionals in-store to deliver pharmacy services
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to support safe and legal dispensing
• Keep up to date with new innovations in store and comply with operational processes
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions and repeats to promote adherence and reduce waste
