Job summary

Superdrug in Catford is seeking a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant to support the pharmacy team with counter sales, stock replenishment and dispensing support. The role suits those starting out and welcomes applicants with or without pharmacy experience.

You will learn on the job with full training, work 8 hours across Monday and Tuesday, and enjoy staff discounts and training opportunities as part of the Superdrug team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career as a trainee.
• No prior experience required – just a passion for healthcare and customer service.
• Friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well in a team or independently.
• Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Passionate about learning and open to training in additional services.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment.
• Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary.
• Ensuring customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism.
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and merchandising.
