Job summary

Boots UK in-store dispenser role seeks a dedicated team member to support pharmacists and healthcare professionals in dispensing prescriptions and providing patient advice. You will help ensure the safe sale of medicines and maintain high standards of patient care within the store environment.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or currently working towards) and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience working in community pharmacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring the safe supply of medicines (ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collection of prescriptions).
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals in-store to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support the safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and comply with operational processes.
