Job summary

Boots UK in the United Kingdom is seeking a Dispenser to support the pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions and advising patients within-store. You will build relationships with patients, ensure safe medicine supply, and contribute to high-quality pharmacy services.

The role is based in-store across the UK; remote applications are not considered, and UK right-to-work is required. Training and career progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor qualification (or equivalent) or first year of an MPharm completed.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship.
• Experience in community pharmacy is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing with safe supply of medicines.
• Collaborate with store healthcare professionals to deliver services.
• Advise patients on medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to ensure safe, legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Support patients to manage prescriptions and adherence, reducing waste.
• Stay updated on store innovations and processes.
