Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Dispenser to join our store pharmacy team across the UK. You will support the pharmacist and healthcare professionals, dispensing prescriptions and ensuring the safe sale of medicines while building trusted relationships with patients.

The role offers training, career development, and potential progression to Pharmacy Technician. NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor (or equivalent) or first year of an MPharm is required; UK right to work is essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor qualification (or equivalent) or first year of MPharm completed.
• Current UK right to work; visa sponsorship not offered.
• Experience in community pharmacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines e.g. ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing and collection of prescriptions.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide medicines advice and refer queries to the Pharmacist as needed.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Promote adherence and manage repeats to reduce waste.
