Job summary

Boots Group in the UK is seeking a Dispenser to join our pharmacy team in-store. You will support the Pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions, providing medicines information and patient care to help customers stay healthy.

Role requires completion of NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor or current progress toward MPharm year 1, and valid UK right to work. In-store experience in community pharmacy is a plus and the role is UK-based with no sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or are currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current and valid UK right to work; this role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience working in community pharmacy is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring the safe supply of medicines; ordering medicines, labelling, endorsing and collection of prescriptions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the store to manage and deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
