Pharmacy Technician - Deysbrook Pharmacy

Hours: 38-40 hours per week (shift basis)

Shift Times: Monday to Friday 8 am-6:30 pm, with occasional Saturdays 9 am-12:30 pm

Location: Deysbrook Pharmacy

Salary: Competitive, negotiable based on experience

Qualification: NVQ 2 (minimum) or NVQ 3/Pharmacy Technician and ACT in Pharmacy Services

Deysbrook Pharmacy seeks a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician or Dispenser to join our team. This role could be a great fit if you're passionate about community healthcare and thrive in a busy medical centre environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense and label prescriptions following procedures.
Ensure the safe supply and storage of medicines.
Manage stock levels, ordering as needed.
Update patient records while maintaining confidentiality.
Assisted with monitoring dosage systems for patients on multiple medications.
Verify prescription endorsements and declarations for reimbursement.
Process invoices and maintain a clean, organised dispensary.
Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical staff to support business goals.

Requirements:

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Pharmacy Services.
At least three years of experience in a community pharmacy, ideally in a medical centre.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
Team player with basic IT skills (training provided).
Professional communication skills.
