The Pharmacy Department is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Pharmacy Dispenser to support us in the delivery of pharmacy services at HMP Durham. This is an opportunity to join our committed team working to provide a variety of support roles across the establishment. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, which are crucial, along with the ability to work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team. If you are a motivated individual with a desire to enhance your pharmacy skills, we offer a wide range of training and development opportunities.

As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will assist with the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high-quality prison pharmaceutical service, always maintaining a high level of security. The post holder will be an integral member of the Healthcare Team. You will support the delivery of Pharmacy Services, including the supply of medication, supervision of medication administration to prisoners, and providing services to service users within your competency.
