Job summary

Tesco Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Dispenser to join our store teams. You will dispense medicines accurately, advise customers, and support daily operations with a friendly, patient-focused approach. We offer a competitive hourly rate from £13.70 to £14.97 (M25 higher), guaranteed minimum hours, flexible shifts, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience or qualifications gained from working in a Pharmacy environment.
• Desire to train and develop into the Pharmacy field.
• Passion for delivering great service to every customer.
• Ability to build rapport and provide confident advice.
• Team-oriented approach and good communication with store colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the daily operation of a modern Tesco Pharmacy as part of a collaborative team.
• Accurately dispense prescription medicines with strong attention to detail and customer care.
• Providing friendly, confident advice to customers on medicines, common ailments, and available pharmacy services.
• Understanding customer needs and recommend suitable products responsibly.
• Handle queries within competence and escalation when needed.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensure all prescription administration is completed accurately and on time.
• Support promotional activities and company initiatives.
