Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Dispenser to support pharmacists and healthcare professionals in-store, delivering safe and efficient pharmacy services. You will greet customers, dispense prescriptions, and advise patients on medicines to promote health and wellbeing.

This in-store role focuses on patient care, collaboration with pharmacy staff, and adherence to SOPs, with opportunities to train as a Pharmacy Technician or in store leadership. UK right to work is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor or currently pursuing MPharm; first year completed.
• Current and valid UK right to work; no sponsorship for visa.
• Experience in community pharmacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Work with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide medicines guidance to patients and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe, legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with store innovations and SOPs.
• Help patients manage repeats and adherence to reduce waste.
