Job summary

Day Lewis is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to provide relief cover across seven Isle of Wight pharmacies. You will travel between sites, cover 24–40 hours per week, and must have your own transport. The role is permanent, with weekly location changes to meet pharmacy cover requirements.

Consumers and patient care come first as you support Pharmacists, deliver dispensing duties, and contribute to a fast-paced, patient-focused team across the Island.

Qualifications

• Own transport required.
• Willing to travel across 7 Day Lewis pharmacies.
• NVQ2 in Pharmacy is essential.
• Experience as Pharmacy Assistant/Dispenser is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist in day-to-day dispensing and customer service.
• Support front counter and welcome patients.
• Develop the pharmacy business by ensuring high standards of service.

Day Lewis Pharmacy Isle Of Wight relief role

Open to applicants able to work between 24 - 40 hours per week

Pay is competitive based on experience

This position is for a trained dispenser able to travel across 7 different day lewis pharmacies on the island.

It is a permanent contracted position, but the location will change from week to week depending on which pharmacy needs the cover.

You must have your own transport for this position.

Fuel is reimbursed at 55p per mile (tax free) and all parking is also covered.

This is a great opportuntiy to gain experience working across different teams and learning from different pharmacists.
