Job summary

Rowlands Pharmacy Gorsty Lane Hereford is seeking a Pharmacy Dispenser on a fixed-term contract to support daily pharmacy operations. The role emphasizes accurate dispensing, patient care, and a friendly, professional presence in the community.

With 16 hours per week, the schedule runs Thursday 09:00–17:30 and Friday 09:00–17:30 at Gorsty Lane, Hereford HR1 1UN. NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services and MCA qualifications are required, along with customer-service experience.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent course, as well as a Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification. Evidence of qualifications held will be required for the successful candidate.

Additionally, we are looking for candidates with experience working in a customer-focused environment, a strong understanding of confidentiality, and the ability to handle medications accurately.
