Job summary

A leading pharmacy group in the UK is seeking a Pharmacy Dispenser for a part-time role based in Bude. You will be responsible for ensuring customer needs are met while providing excellent customer service and dispensing medications. The ideal candidate will possess a Dispensing NVQ Level 2 Qualification, have a confident manner, and be detail-oriented. Qualifications

Must have Dispensing NVQ Level 2 Qualification.
Experience working in a retail or customer-focused background.
Must have a caring and confident manner when serving and advising patients.
Excellent attention to detail is required.

Responsibilities

Dispense items into compliance aids or monitored dosage systems.
Check that receipt of prescriptions at the medicines counter has been correctly performed.
Provide excellent levels of customer service to all customers.
Support the services as required by identifying opportunities.
Clinically check all prescriptions to avoid possible drug interactions.

Your New Role with Avicenna:

You will ensure customer needs are met in a timely and efficient manner to enhance the success of the pharmacy by providing an excellent customer service Key responsibilities will be:

Responsibilities

Dispense items into compliance aids or monitored dosage systems, when appropriate.
Check that receipt of prescriptions at the medicines counter has been correctly performed and verify stock availability on acceptance of prescription.
To provide excellent levels of customer service to all customer to ensure customer needs and requirements are met/exceeded.
To support the other services as requires by the pharmacy and identify opportunities for the Pharmacist Manager, Pharmacist, Relief Pharmacist or Locum
To clinically check all prescriptions to avoid possible drug interaction. When interaction is identified, make the RP aware so that the prescriber is contacted
