Job summary
The Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust in Cornwall is recruiting a Skilled Pharmacy Assistant within the General Pharmacy to support dispensary and supply services, ensuring patients receive medicines on time. The role requires NVQ Level 2 or equivalent and includes inpatient, outpatient and discharge dispensing, plus ward stock support.
You will work with JAC system, complete training for checking, and contribute to patient care and experience.
Qualifications
- NVQ 2 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services or currently working towards.
- GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English.
Responsibilities
- Dispense inpatient, outpatient and discharge medicines.
- Prepare extemporaneous products and support ward stock service.
- Label medications and manage patient own medicines and check accuracy.
