About the Role

To be employed in this role, you must pass an enhanced safeguarding check. Our stores operate 24/7, offering a variety of shift patterns. Flexibility is key, and weekend work is required. In-store Pharmacies are popular, and you should provide friendly, confident service, discuss personal health issues comfortably, resolve customer problems, and guide customers to the right products.

You will be responsible for accurately assembling and processing prescriptions, promoting pharmacy services (e.g., Prescription Collection, Medicines Use Reviews), supporting the Pharmacist with patient services (blood pressure checks, stop smoking schemes), and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures.

You will also collect prescriptions from doctors' surgeries on behalf of customers. We will support your development through an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months, followed by training as a Dispensing Assistant, advancing your pharmacy career.

You are friendly, organized, proactive, and a team player. You possess good computer skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You enjoy problem-solving, helping people, and providing a great healthcare experience, ensuring customers find what they need and enjoy a friendly chat along the way.
