Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd. in Warrington is recruiting a Pharmacy Colleague for a part-time role (20 hours per week). You will assist in-store pharmacies, assemble and process prescriptions, and support the Pharmacist with patient services while following strict procedures.

The role requires weekend work, and you will complete an accredited course to become a Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months before progressing to a Dispensing Assistant track, with ongoing training and service expansion.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process prescriptions accurately
• Drive awareness of pharmacy services (Prescription Collection Service, Medicines Use Reviews)
• Support Pharmacist with patient services and record keeping
• Collect prescriptions from doctor surgeries and bring to store
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and maintain patient confidentiality
