Audrey's Pharmacy in West Kirby is looking for a friendly part-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our welcoming team. You will greet customers, assist with dispensing under supervision, and help run front-of-shop duties to keep the service safe and efficient.

You will need good communication, attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Vaccinations administration is part of the role, and previous pharmacy or customer-facing experience is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent is an advantage.
• Experience in pharmacy or customer service is desirable but not essential.
• Must be able to administer vaccinations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service at the counter
• Assist with the accurate dispensing and labelling of prescriptions under supervision
• Manage the sale of over-the-counter medicines, referring queries to the pharmacist where appropriate
• Handle prescription intake, collection and delivery processes
• Administer vaccinations (e.g. flu, COVID-19 and other travel/NHS jabs) in line with pharmacy protocols and training
• Support stock control, including ordering, receiving and rotating medicines
• Keep the pharmacy clean, tidy and well presented at all times
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all standard operating procedures
