Qualifications

  • Registered with the GPhC as a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician.
  • Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant with NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the pharmacy and Trust R&D clinical trials team.
  • Manage day-to-day workload of clinical trials.
  • Act as liaison to dispensaries for clinical trial medications.

Are you a Pharmacy Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, or Pharmacist looking for structured, placement-based work within a world-class NHS Trust? Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust Staff Bank, in partnership with Reed, offers exciting temp placement opportunities across five leading London hospitals.

As a Staff Bank pharmacy professional, youll be placed within a consistent team, acting as a key liaison to one of our dispensaries. Youll ensure clinical trial medications are prepared safely and effectively, contributing to our legacy of excellence in patient care and research. Youll work closely with colleagues across Charing Cross Hospital, Hammersmith Hospital, St Marys Hospital, Queen Charlottes & Chelsea Hospital, and the Western Eye Hospital.

We welcome applications from GPhC-registered Pharmacists, registered Pharmacy Technicians, and experienced Pharmacy Assistants with an NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Pharmacy Services.

Main duties of the job

Our team works across a broad range of commercial, academic, and Imperial-sponsored trials, screening and delivering a variety of specialised therapies to patients. With circa 300 active trials managed by passionate professionals, you'll find an exciting landscape with the emerging development of personalised and precision medicines.

Be a part of our team, a close-knit group spanning the Charing Cross Hospital, Hammersmith Hospital, St Marys Hospital, Queen Charlottes & Chelsea Hospital and the Western Eye Hospital. Act as liaison to one of our dispensaries, ensuring clinical trials are prepared safely and efficaciously and contributing to our legacy of excellence. Through our association with Imperial College London, the Imperial Clinical Research Facility (ICRF), CRUK Imperial Centre, and various other research units, we have a global reputation for breaking new grounds in clinical and biomedical research.
