East Kent University NHS Foundation Trust (EKUFT) has an exciting and challenging new role within the pharmacy department. We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our dynamic and lively team. The post holder will be responsible for supplying medications to service users across the Trust.
Dispensing duties will include dispensing in-patient and outpatient prescriptions and assisting in the sale of pharmacy medicines. No previous experience in pharmacy is required, as full in-house training will be provided.
We are looking for applicants who are eager to learn, capable of organizing and prioritizing their work to meet deadlines, and able to work using their own initiative. While an NVQ level 2 in pharmacy services is preferred, candidates without this qualification will be supported to enroll and work towards achieving it.

As a Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officer, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic, multidisciplinary team supporting reception and dispensing services for both in-patients and out-patients within the Pharmacy Department. You will lead in providing excellent customer service and act as a role model to other members of the dispensary team.
You will be able to handle inquiries efficiently, politely, and courteously, providing caring and helpful services to staff, patients, and the public.
