Description:

NHS Jobs is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Doncaster. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pharmaceutical services within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals.

Dispense medications accurately and efficiently.

Maintain inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals.

Provide excellent customer service to patients.

Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a pharmacy setting.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Core Hours:

Monday to Friday: 9am to 5:30pm

Late Shift: Monday to Friday, 12noon to 8:30pm

Weekends: Saturday and Sunday, 9am to 5:30pm (on a rota basis)

Additional Information:

Successful applicants must present original certificates of essential qualifications.

Negotiable day off during the week.

Participation in a bank holiday rota (9am to 5:30pm).

Aseptics work may require staggered start/finish times, with some shifts starting as early as 8am.
