Job summary

Davidson’s Chemists in Milnathort is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant for a part-time role (19 hours per week), including every 2nd Saturday. You will work across the healthcare counter and dispensary, supporting the team and Pharmacist to ensure safe, accurate dispensing and patient care.

We welcome applicants new to the field and offer NVQ Level 2 training pathways with clear progression into dispensing or supervisory roles as you grow.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Healthcare Assistant qualification (or training toward it).
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service to patients and customers.
• Willingness to learn and progress within dispensing processes and possibly supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient care at the counter and in the dispensary.
• Support the Pharmacist and team under guidance.
• Ensure safe, accurate, and timely supply of prescribed medications.
• Offer advice on common illnesses and minor ailments and recommend over-the-counter treatments where suitable.
• Provide lifestyle guidance to promote healthier living in a dynamic community pharmacy environment.
