Job summary

Asda is seeking a Pharmacy Colleague in Edmonton to join our in-store Pharmacy team. This part-time role involves assembling and processing prescriptions, delivering friendly patient service, and supporting the pharmacist with services and record keeping.

You'll be expected to pass an enhanced safeguarding check, work weekends, and complete an accredited course to become a Medicines Counter Assistant within 6 months, progressing toward dispensing duties.

Qualifications

• Pass enhanced safeguarding check is required.
• Weekend working is a requirement of the role.
• Willingness to complete training to become Medicines Counter Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process prescriptions accurately.
• Support the Pharmacist with patient services and records.
• Collect prescriptions from GP surgeries and bring to store for collection.
• Promote pharmacy services such as Prescription Collection and Medicines Use Reviews.
