Job summary

University Hospitals Dorset is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support medicine supply across Bournemouth Hospital and to assist the Digital Medicines team. The role combines dispensary duties with EPMA-related digital work, offering exposure to hospital processes and ongoing training.

Ideal candidates will have GCSEs including Maths, English and Science, a Level 2 Pharmacy Services qualification, and IT skills. The post requires flexibility for cross-site work and weekend rotas.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including Maths, English & Science (Grade 4/C or above).
• Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or willingness to work towards).
• IT qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support supply of medicines across hospital sites.
• Provide EPMA support and digital medicines assistance.
• Deliver teaching and training to multidisciplinary staff across UHD.
• Cross-site working between Dispensary and Digital Medicines teams.
