Location:Royal London Hospital, Barts Health NHS Trust
Salary:Band 3
Working hours: 9am to 5pm, 30mins break

Start Date ASAP

About the Role

As aBand 3 Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient supply of medicines across the hospital. You’ll be involved in labelling and dispensing medications, managing stock, supporting ward top-up services, and assisting with medicines management initiatives.

You will work closely with pharmacy technicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate medication supply to patients.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months paid NHS experience
  • NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent)
  • Experience using JAC/CMM systems for labelling and dispensing
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Enhanced DBS check (including barred lists)
