Job summary

Skills4Group in Manchester is recruiting a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship while working full-time, gaining hands-on experience in a healthcare setting.

The training will be delivered alongside your job through blended learning over typically 15 months, with full support provided. No previous pharmacy experience is required; earn while you learn.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent; Maths and English desirable but not essential and can be provided as part of the course.
• If Maths/English Level 2 not held, tests determine suitability for the course.

Brief Description

M7 1US. We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Training to be Provided

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.

About the role
