Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy is offering a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice role in Leeds. You will support the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, help customers and work closely with the team to ensure safe and efficient service.

You will undertake a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided. The role covers customer service at the counter, under supervision assistance with prescriptions, stock handling, and using pharmacy systems, all

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English are desired but not essential as training is provided.
• No previous pharmacy experience is required; full training is provided.

About the role

As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.

Duration: Typically 15 months

Training delivered alongside your job through blended learning

Working Week

Mon to Fri 9am to 6pm

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.
