Job summary

Wembley Pharmacy is looking for a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community team in Wembley, HA9. You will work towards a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship, earning while you learn and gaining hands-on experience in a healthcare setting.

You will complete the apprenticeship with full training and support, handling customer queries, helping with prescriptions, stock control, and using pharmacy systems. No prior pharmacy experience is required.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
• For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.
• No previous pharmacy experience is required full training is provided.

Brief Description

Wembley, HA9 - We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Training to be Provided

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.
