Job summary

Skills4 Pharmacy in Dagenham is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will support day-to-day operations and customer service while working toward a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

You will complete the apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided. We require candidates within 30 minutes of the pharmacy, with a genuine interest in healthcare and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
• No previous pharmacy experience required; full training is provided.
• Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship will be completed alongside the role.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.

Apprenticeship details:

• Apprentices must be able to commit to contracted working hours and guided learning hours
