This is an exciting role that involves engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and replenishment, and helping to deliver various public health services while gaining a pharmacy qualification.
GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent in Maths and English are desired but not essential, as these can be provided as part of the course. For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent, employment will be offered on the condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to assess suitability for the course.
Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.
This role offers experience in retail, knowledge about over-the-counter medicines, assistance in dispensing prescriptions, ordering pharmaceutical stock, advising customers on over-the-counter medication, and helping with minor ailments. It provides an opportunity to gain a pharmacy qualification while developing relevant skills.
Pay: £7.55 per hour
