Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy is offering an Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice role in Bridlington. You will support day-to-day pharmacy operations, assist customers, and work closely with the team to ensure safe, efficient service while completing a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support.

The role includes handling prescriptions under supervision, stock control, and using pharmacy systems.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A–C (Maths and English) or equivalent.
• Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship to be completed during employment.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

About the role

As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.

• Supporting customers at the medicines counter and responding to queries
• Assisting with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision)
• Handling stock, deliveries and maintaining accurate records
• Using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality
• Working as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service

Duration: Typically 15 months

Working Week

Mon to Fri 9am till 530pm

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

Training to be Provided

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.

£30,920 per annum, plus bonus opportunity
