Job summary

Your World in Huddersfield is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant (Band 3) to support the dispensary operations. This full-time role offers £14.00 - £17.00 per hour and starts 05/05/2026. You will assist with dispensing processes under a registered Pharmacist.

You will handle stock, deliveries, and expiry monitoring, ensuring accuracy, hygiene, and compliance with SOPs. Excellent customer service and attention to detail are essential to help patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months in a UK-based Pharmacy setting.
• NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills (or equivalent).
• Strong computer literacy for stock management systems; ability to work full-time Mon–Fri.

Responsibilities

• Support the dispensing process by accurately picking, labeling, and assembling prescriptions under supervision.
• Manage stock deliveries, rotation of medicines, and monitor expiry dates to prevent wastage.
• Adhere to SOPs and health and safety regulations to ensure accuracy and hygiene.
• Facilitate efficient ward deliveries and provide frontline customer service to patients and staff.
