Job Description:

We are looking for a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Churchill Parade Pharmacy in Sutton Coldfield.

The position involves working 12.5 hours per week with the following schedule: Monday and Wednesday, 2pm to 6pm, and Friday, 1.30pm to 6pm.

The role includes:

  • Providing high-quality customer service to attract and retain customers.
  • Receiving and checking prescriptions, ensuring details are legible and complete, collecting levy or verifying exemption.
  • Promoting products and services to maximize branch sales.
  • Referring customers to healthcare professionals, including pharmacists, following standard procedures.
  • Receiving incoming stock, storing it correctly, completing documentation, minimizing damage, rotating stock to prevent expiry, and notifying suppliers of discrepancies.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping and cleaning routines.
  • Performing cashing up and banking duties.
