Rowlands Pharmacy (Phoenix Medical Supplies) in Southport is recruiting a pharmacy assistant to support everyday branch operations and service delivery. You will engage confidently with customers, patients and healthcare professionals while helping to ensure accurate handling of medications and confidentiality.

The ideal candidate holds an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services and a Medicine Counter Assistant qualification, with previous customer-facing experience.

Formación

• NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent.
• Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification is required.
• Experience in a customer-focused environment and confidentiality awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in all branch processes.
• Build positive relationships with customers, patients, and healthcare professionals.
• Assist in the delivery of pharmacy services.
• Represent Rowlands Pharmacy and engage with the community daily.

Working pattern

• Wednesday 9am - 6pm
• Thursday 9am - 6pm
• Friday 9am - 6pm
• Saturday 9am - 12pm

What your working day will look like:

• Participating in all branch processes
• Building positive relationships with customers, patients, and healthcare professionals
• Assisting in the delivery of pharmacy services
• Serving as an ambassador for Rowlands Pharmacy, representing the company and interacting with the community on a daily basis

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent course, as well as a Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification. Evidence of qualifications held will be required for the successful candidate.

Additionally, we are looking for candidates with experience working in a customer-focused environment, a strong understanding of confidentiality, and the ability to handle medications accurately.
