Day Lewis is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Assistant - Dispenser. If successful, this role will support your development and future career in Medicine and Clinical Care.

The initial stage of this career at the Pharmacy Assistant level involves settling into our team and completing the Day Lewis Induction training. Depending on your previous pharmacy experience, you may need to complete a pharmacy assistant course, which can take between 3-6 months.

The National Pharmaceutical Association's new BTEC Level 3 Diploma - Principles and Practices for Pharmacy Technicians is an integrated course tailored to meet the needs of learners and pharmacies, especially as the responsibilities and professional recognition of pharmacy technicians grow.

Reporting directly to the Pharmacist Manager, your support at the Pharmacy Assistant level is vital to the team in providing advanced and enhanced services.

• Assist the Pharmacist in developing the pharmacy business by ensuring the dispensary delivers excellent customer service and operates effectively according to company policies and procedures.
• Assist at the front counter and be a welcoming support to patients.
• You will be an integral part of a small, dedicated team.
• Develop relationships with patients and healthcare organizations to ensure effective and patient-friendly customer service.
