A leading healthcare trust in Nottingham is recruiting a Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officer. The role involves receiving, assembling, and dispensing medicines while maintaining accurate stock control. Ideal candidates should hold an NVQ Level 2 in pharmacy services and demonstrate a methodical approach and team collaboration. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with regular working hours and no weekend requirements.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officer at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, based at the Wells Road Centre.
You will rotate within different areas of the department, including dispensary, stores, and distribution. Therefore, you should be methodical, accurate, and able to follow procedures.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, enthusiastic, eager to learn, and committed to providing high standards of service to patients and service users.
Applicants should possess an NVQ Level 2 in pharmacy services (or equivalent). We can fund the course and provide on-the-job training and support to complete the qualification.
The successful applicant will be expected to undertake the following responsibilities:
Hours of Work: 8:30 am to 4:45 pm in pharmacy stores, and 8:45 am to 5:00 pm in dispensary. There is no current requirement to work weekends or bank holidays. Applications are welcome for both full-time and part-time roles.
