Hours of work: 24 hours per week


Day Lewis is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Assistant - Dispenser. If successful, this role will support your development and future career in Medicine and Clinical Care.

The initial stage involves settling into our team and completing the Day Lewis Induction training. Depending on your previous pharmacy experience, you may need to complete a pharmacy assistant course, which can take between 3-6 months.


Our vision is to develop the next generation of Pharmacy Technicians, supporting with courses, training, and reimbursement.


The National Pharmaceutical Association's new BTEC Level 3 Diploma - Principles and practices for Pharmacy Technicians is an integrated course designed to meet the needs of learners and pharmacies, aligning with the growing responsibilities and recognition of pharmacy technicians.


Reporting directly to the Pharmacist Manager, your support at the Pharmacy Assistant level is vital to the team in providing advanced and enhanced services.


  • Assist the Pharmacist in developing the pharmacy business by ensuring excellent customer service and effective operation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support on the front counter, providing a warm welcome and assistance to patients.
  • Be an integral part of a small, dedicated team.
  • Build relationships with patients and healthcare organizations to deliver effective, patient-friendly service.
  • Contribute to a family-oriented chain that rewards, recognizes, and empowers hardworking staff.
