The PharmaC team at Clatterbridge Cancer Centre has an exciting opportunity for passionate and dedicated individuals who are looking for a new challenge, the next step in their Pharmacy career, or just something different.
You will be joining a diverse and professional team, who take pride in providing a high quality and efficient medicines supply service to the Trust, to ensure that patients receive the best care. You will be involved in many different aspects of supplying medicines. You will need great communication, accuracy and organisational skills. You will need to follow strict procedures and instructions carefully; dealing with queries and issues promptly and escalating when necessary. You will also need accurate record keeping and IT skills. Pharmacy experience is desirable, but full training is provided. We can offer plenty of opportunities for development and progression to those who have demonstrated excellence in the service of our patients. Experience in customer services, stock and inventory management or medicines procurement is desirable, but the ability to learn quickly and work accurately important. You must have a good level of education, having a minimum of a GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths, English and Science at Grade C or above. These posts will be based at our Clatterbridge Cancer Centre Liverpool site, but you may be required travel to work at other PharmaC sites as required.

Due to the nature of the role, successful candidates will be required to complete a DBS check before employment can commence. Employment is conditional on satisfactory DBS clearance. The DBS helps employers make safer recruitment decisions and prevent unsuitable people from working with vulnerable groups.
Initial starting point £26,209 per annum pro rata moving to £27,837 per annum upon one years service and successful appraisal.
There is a two part assessment and interview process for this role. Initial interview invitation will be for a standardised numeracy and literacy test. If successful at this stage you will be invited to a second formal interview session within approximately 7 to 10 days.
