Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant at Leeds Hospital to join our pharmacy team on a bank, part-time basis. You will hold a Buttercups (or equivalent) qualification in pharmacy services and bring post-qualification experience, with excellent communication and people skills and solid computer abilities.

In this role, you will monitor stock levels, support procurement, assist with dispensing, and provide administrative support across the department.

Responsibilities

• To monitor stock levels within the Pharmacy department to maintain appropriate stock levels
• To assist with the procurement of pharmaceutical stock for the pharmacy and other departments using appropriate electronic systems
• To monitor stock levels within the pharmacy department
• To monitor stock levels in designated ward/department areas by carrying out stock top ups
• To assist with supplying stock to other departments
• To participate in pharmacy and departmental stock takes
• To help with general dispensing as required
• To provide general administrative support to the department

Pharmacy Assistant Leeds Hospital | Pharmacy | Bank | Part Time | £13.07 per hour Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability As a Pharmacy Assistant at our Leeds Hospital, you will hold a Buttercups (or equivalent) qualification in pharmacy services, and you'll have proven post-qualification experience. It is also important that you have excellent communication and people skills, as you'll be working closely with our patients and a variety of clinical staff. You will also have good computer skills.
