The hourly rate for this role is £12.69 and up to £14.05 across selected locations within London.

You'll work across the healthcare counter and dispensary to meet patients' needs, offering a great opportunity to develop your pharmacy career and make a difference.

Daily responsibilities

Providing health advice through focused conversations and giving accurate answers.

Your duties include:
  1. Tailoring conversations to ensure customers leave informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
  2. Handling technical dispensary tasks such as ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions.
  3. Complying with legal and professional standards.
  4. Engaging with GPs and practice teams to promote services and products.
  5. Ensuring efficient dispensary operations and minimizing losses.
Qualifications

You should have an NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services and experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser. Completion of Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) or equivalent is required; if not completed, we will support your training within 6 months. Opportunities for further development include NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services and registration with GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician, potentially leading to an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician role.
