Our stores operate 24/7, offering various shift patterns. We seek flexible workers; weekend work is required, and we may need to adjust your shifts accordingly.

As a Pharmacy Accuracy Checking Dispensing Assistant (ACDA), you will play a vital role in our in-store pharmacies, which are popular with customers. Customers expect warmth, friendliness, and confidence when discussing personal health issues.

1. You will be responsible for checking the accuracy of dispensed medicines, verifying patient details, medication type, dosage, labelling, and packaging.
2. Report any medication errors or incidents promptly and correctly.
3. Perform final accuracy checks on items clinically checked by a Pharmacist.
4. Conduct regular audits of the dispensary and stock levels. Supervise pharmacy assistants to ensure proper dispensing procedures.
5. Maintain documentation and records of all tasks. Guide and train pharmacy staff, sharing knowledge and expertise.
6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and practices.
7. Support the Pharmacist with patient services, such as blood pressure checks and smoking cessation schemes.
8. Promote awareness of additional pharmacy services, including Blood Pressure, New Medicine Service, and Online Doctor.

You will also develop an understanding of our Standard Operating Procedures and adhere to them to meet customer expectations.
