Job summary

Bestway Healthcare is seeking an Accuracy Checking Technician to support a busy pharmacy team in Risca. You will work with the Pharmacist to manage daily dispensary operations, allocate tasks to dispensing staff, and assist customers with healthcare advice at the counter.

The role requires an Accuracy Checking Qualification, NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Pharmacy Services, and GPhC registration; a DBS/PVG clearance (or automatic update service) is required at start.

Qualifications

• Accuracy Checking Qualification and NVQ/QCF Level 3 equivalent in Pharmacy Services.
• GPhC registration is required.
• All successful applicants must have an up-to-date DBS/PVG before start dates.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist in day-to-day dispensary operations and allocate work to Dispensing Technicians and Dispensing Assistants.
• Ensure stock levels are managed and maintained.
• Provide healthcare advice and services at the counter to customers.
