Job summary

Well Pharmacy in Risca seeks an Accuracy Checking Technician to support the dispensary operations, customer service and stock management. You will assist the Pharmacist, allocate tasks to colleagues, and help maintain a high standard of patient care.

The role requires an Accuracy Checking Qualification, NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Pharmacy Services and registration with GPhC, with a DBS/PVG good-standing check prior to start. DBS/PVG processing is arranged if not on update service.

Qualifications

• Accuracy Checking Qualification and NVQ/QCF Level 3 equivalent in Pharmacy Services, plus GPhC registration.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist with day-to-day dispensary operations and allocate work to Dispensing Technicians and Assistants.
• Assist with stock management and provide healthcare advice to customers at the counter.
• Support sales, cash handling and store duties, including product displays and GP surgery queries.
