Job summary

Evolve Selection is recruiting for an independent Pharmacy client in Gloucester (GL1) seeking an Accuracy Checking Technician to join the team. You will work behind the scenes with the Pharmacist and pharmacy staff to ensure accurate dispensing and compliance with safety standards.

The role is full or part-time with hours between Monday and Friday (9am-6pm) and Saturday 9am-1pm, total 16–37.5 hours per week, with a four-day pattern plus Saturday. Salary up to £14 per hour DOE plus pension.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling prescriptions and medication orders.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy setting (distance selling or community) is advantageous.
• NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent foundation qualification.

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispensing prescription medications under the supervision of Pharmacists.
• Provide excellent customer support via digital platforms, phone and email.
• Use pharmacy software to manage patient information, prescriptions and orders securely.
• Maintain up-to-date records of medication history and dispensing activities to support safety and compliance.
